Tim Davies Big Band: a band that is larger, louder and faster than a big band and usually features a mixture of Jazz, Hip Hop and Death Metal led by a manic drummer from Australia.
| Hi Thanks for checking out my site. Here you will find info on myself, my music and my big band. Tim Davies Big Band LIVE Monday June 30 at Typhoon (Santa Monica Airport). 8pm and 9:30 sets. I have been busy as usual. I have been orchestrating and conducting Jim Dooley's score for the new hit show Pushing Daisies. I recently finiahed a commision for the Austraian Army, a big band piece to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band corps. I just finished work on a new Video Game called Prototype for Composers Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan. That is the 5th game I have worked on for them now (God of War 2, Haze, Beowulf and Clive Barkers Jericho). Next up is Death Race a Universal film for Paul Haslinger for which I will be orchestrating and conducting. The new big band album is in the final stages. 6 tracks are mixed, 3 to go! I will be unlike any big band record you have heard before. I gave up and got a myspace page. It even has some photos.
