Working with Kendrick Lamar

In October I went back to the Kennedy Center to work with Kendrick Lamar and the National Symphony. Kendrick performed his album To Pimp a Butterfly with the orchestra and I was the lead arranger. Thanks to Jeremy Levy, Chris Walden, and Joe Trapanese for helping with additional arrangements. Recording Big Bands can be painful

Upcoming appearances: Jazz Education Network Conference in Dallas, TX. January 10 and 11. I am giving a lecture on the 11th at 10am entitled "Notation Plain and Simple -- The Jazz Default."
