I recently has the pleasure of Music Directing and Conducting a concert featuring the Film and Television scores of Guillermo del Toro with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco. I was really excited to work on the show featuring the music of Javier Navarrete (The Devils Backbone, Pan’s Labrynth) and Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water) but I almost swallowed my Horngazzle when Guillermo said he also wanted to play my music from Trollhunters! With the help of my regular conspirators Jeremy Levy, Jordan Seigel, Ryan Humphrey, and Lorenzo Carano, we put together a 25-minute suite in record time.
The concert was on the 25th of July at the Auditorio Telmex in Guadalajara.
