For the last 10 years or so, I have been lucky enough to work on shows for the Kennedy Center in Washington DC and the National Symphony Orchestra. This started with NAS and the Twentieth Anniversary performance of Illmatic, continued with Kendrick Lamar, Common, Babyface, Maxwell, Ne-Yo and, most recently, Killer Mike. Besides the usual film and television work, I've also had a number of arranging projects come my way this year. A number of them have been for my friend Jules Buckley. The first was a concert in June with the BBC Symphony Orchestra titled "Beyond the Bricks of Brum," celebrating the city of Birmingham.
